Yes this is true, many Filipinos admire him and now even more because in June this year, Pacquiao as congressman is actively supporting the House Bill „P125 Increase\u00a0 across the Board, Nationwide“\u00a0 In the Phil. Daily Inquirer, a nationwide newspaper, was the picture of Pacquiao with our friends in the Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), Pacquiao wore the T-shirt „P125 Across the Board“.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said he will actively support passage of the bill in Congress together with our militant party-list congressmen.\u00a0 Congress will start session on Monday, 25 July.<\/p>\n

This bill was first proposed in\u00a0 the House of Representatives in the mid-1990’s.\u00a0 And then actively pushed forward\u00a0 by Crispin Beltran „Ka Bel“ when he became congressman in 2001 until he died in 2008.<\/p>\n
