Resolution to Mr. President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III,

Another progressive member of the Philippine media has been cowardly killed on the street by hired killers:  Joselito Augustin is the 102nd journalist killed since your predecessor outgoing President Gloria Macapagal–Arroyo took office in 2001.


In the last weeks  8 activist for human rights, for the rights of workers and trade union and for the enviroment are liquidated by these extrajudical killings of


  1. anti-mining advocate Samson “Mike” Rivera in Calapan City, Mindoro Oriental on May 16

  2. farmer Julio Etang and

  3. farmer Borromeo Cabilis in Mobo, Masbate both on June 1

  4. labor union leader Edward Panganiban in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on June 2

  5. human rights worker Benjamin Bayles in Negros Occidental on June 14

  6. radio journalist Desiderio Camangyan in Many, Davao Oriental on June 14

  7. radio broadcaster Joselito Agustin in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte on June 15

  8. journalist Nestor Bedolido in Digos City, Davao del Sur on June 20

Since 2001 more than 1200 activists of the worker- and peoplemovement were cowardly killed, not included the more than 300 enforced disappeared activists like James Balao. This is a secret war against the people!

Here and now we demand:

  • Stop the political killings at once

  • Stop the impunity for the coward killers at once

  • prosecution of all perpetrators of human rights violations in the Philippines, regardless of any rank, power or affiliation and all the responsible politicans in the rows behind

  • Stop the counter-insurgency plan “Oplan Bantay Laya” made in USA, that killes respectivley the role of imperialistic US-policy worldwide activist out of the public life

  • Break off at once all secret armies like the Special Groups like the KSK in Calw, Germany, on the Philippines and elsewhere

  • Stop the psychological lies and the betrays of the US-NEW WAR under the label of the so called „war on terror“

  • Surface all disappeared activists at once

As the incoming President, we further urge you to secureI trust you to take action in these and other cases and to make good with your promise to prosecute the crimes of the past administration!

On the Monday Demonstration in Stuttgart, Germany, 28th of June 2010 we counted  just as it was decided by the Monday-Demonstration Movement Stuttgart in our partnership agreement between the Monday-Demonstration-Movement  in Stuttgart and the family Balao and Cordillera People Alliance (CPA) of October 2008- the days of the disappearance of James Balao. Today it was the 643th day of the disappearance of James Balao :

Schon wieder wurde ein fortschrittlicher Journalist auf den Philippinen auf offener Straße von beauftragten Killern feige erschossen. Joselito Augustin ist der 102. Journalist, der auf diese Weise liquidiert wurde seit 2001, dem Regierungsantritt von GM Arroyo

In den letzten Wochen sind also 8 Menschenrechts-, Gewerkschafts- und Umweltaktivisten auf diese Art liquidiert worden.

Seit 2001 sind mehr als 1200 Volks-und Arbeiteraktivisten feige erschossen worden, die mehr als 300 Verschwundenen wie James Balao nicht mitgerechnet. Das ist ein geheimer Krieg gegen das Volk!

Wir fordern hier und jetzt:

  • Stoppt die Morde sofort

  • Stoppt die Straflosigkeit dieser feigen Möder, Sofortige Bestrafung der Verantwortlichen und ihrer Hintermänner

  • Stoppt das Aufstandsbekämpfungsprogramm “Oplan Bantay Laya” made in USA, das entsprechend der amerikanischen Weltmachtpolitik Aktivisten aus dem öffentlichen Leben beseitigt

  • Sofortige Auflösung aller Geheimarmeen wie die der KSK in Calw, auf den Philippinen und anderswo

  • Schluss mit der psychologischen Verhetzung und des NEW WAR Konzepts unter dem Deckmantel der Terrorismusbekämpfung

  • Gebt die Verschwundenen zurück

  • Als der neu gewählte Präsident fordern wir von Ihnen Ihren Versprechungen, derartige Morde auch unter ihrer Vorgängerin Gloria Macapacal Arroyo zu verfolgen, nun Taten folgen zu lassen!
