Dear Friends,

Heavy rains due to Typhoon Maring (international name Trami) have affected more than 18,000 families in the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Bulacan, Zambales, mBataan, Ilocos, Isabela and Metro Manila communities. In the GABRIELA areas in Quezon City, we have already monitored about 2,500 families affected, a third of whom are in evacuation centers. In Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, there are already 100 families staying in the covered court. We have already started relief operations.

Once again, we appeal to you for help. Donations of bottled water, ready to eat food, rice, canned goods, instant noodles, mats, and blankets, clothes, diapers, sanitary napkins and medicines for cough, colds, fever, and diarrhea and cash donations are welcome.
