On the Monday Demonstration in Stuttgart, Germany, 23rd  of August 2010 we counted  as it was decided by the Monday-Demonstration Movement Stuttgart in our partnership agreement between the Monday-Demonstration-Movement  in Stuttgart and the family Balao and Cordillera People Alliance (CPA) of October 2008- the days of the disappearance of James Balao. Today it was the 699th day of the disappearance of James Balao
and soon it will be the 17th of September, the day on which James Balao was enforced disappeared on the street of his hometown La Trinidad by military and secret agents of the state.

Today it was the 685th day of the disappearance of James Balao.
While here in Stuttgart one demonstration follows the other ( on Saturday nearly 20 000 and on Monday something about 10 000 participants) and the next demonstration will be prepared as a chain of people round the mainstation of Stuttgart, we have to inform you  about a sad letter of the Cordillera Peoples Alliance August 4, 2010. They wrote:

By this protest email we will informe you as well about an initiative to support  the Hand for an Orphan project of the Children’s Rehabilitation Center in the Philippines. The 14 year old Filipino  Kyle, living with his parents in the Netherlands, walked 2009  3 days in „Kyle’s Walk of the World“ to raise a total of 2,035.00 Euros, supporting 6 orphans with their educational and nutritional needs. These orphans are the children of killed or enforced disappeared activist in the Philippines.

Aus den Philippinen erreicht uns die Nachricht, dass als Folge der Klimaveränderungen die Regenzeit früher eintritt. So schreibt uns eine Freundin der Cordillera Peoples Alliance, Nordluzon, Philippinen:

Wenn es euch möglich ist, dann wäre es gut, alle möglichen Arten von Regenschutz zu senden für die Menschen hier in den Provinzen, vor allem Regenschirme, Regenkleidung, Gummischuhe, usw. Sie benötigen sämtliche Arten von Hygieneartikel, Verbandszeug, Taschenlampen, Rucksäcke und auch Sandalen mit Klettverschlüssen jeglicher Größe für die Kleinen wie für die Großen. Wir danken euch sehr für eure bisher geleistete solidarische Hilfe.

Die bisherigen Packstationen in Berlin, Köln-Langenfeld, Heidelberg, Heilbronn, Stuttgart und Balingen konnten mit großer Unterstützung von zahlreichen Freundinnen und Freunden von Hannover bis Schwäbisch Hall und weit darüber hinaus in letzter Zeit mehr als 50 Balikbayan-Boxen per Schiff vor allem an Automobil- und Bergarbeiterarbeiter und ihre Familien schicken, die in Gewerkschaften und Volksorganisationen sich im Kampf für eine lebenswerte Zukunft zusammengeschlossen haben.

Today it was the 657th day of the disappearance of James Balao- what a long time for the family and the friends!

But the fight goes on for justice and against impunity of the responsible leading politicans, and therefore a delegation of France joined the solidarity movement
