Call for Urgent Relief for Victims of Flood in Metro Manila

Defend Job Philippines calls for your urgent relief support for our fellow Filipinos affected by flood (waist deep) due to heavy rainfall for more than one week already.
In Metro Manila, heavy rains already paralyzed the whole metropolis. Tens of thousands of residents are already evacuated and offices are already suspended both in public and private. In Quezon City, about 8 people are buried due to landslide according to radio reports. There are about 51 death tolls from floods already.
The continued rainfall brought about by the southwest monsoon overflowed major dams and rivers in Manila and nine (9) surrounding provinces. Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) sees more rains in the next few hours.
